Six Xbox Game Pass titles, including Exoprimal and Escape Academy, are leaving the service on January 15th, likely around midnight local time. This departure impacts subscribers relying on Game Pass for multiplayer games, as half the removed titles fall into this category.

The Xbox Game Pass catalog sees regular updates, typically removing games mid-month and at the end of the month. The previous removal wave occurred on December 31st.

Xbox Game Pass Departures – January 15th:

The following games are leaving the service:

Game Platform(s) Added Estimated Playthrough
Common'hood Cloud, Console, PC Jul 2023 23–36 hours

Escape Academy's Continued Availability:

While leaving Xbox Game Pass, Escape Academy will be free on the Epic Games Store starting January 16th. Removal times for Game Pass titles vary, but most depart near the end of the scheduled day.

Future Game Pass Updates:

The next wave of removals is anticipated on January 31st, with announcements expected alongside the January 2025 Wave 2 lineup. Confirmed day-one additions for late January include Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. Further updates are anticipated around the Xbox Developer Direct on January 23rd.
