The Capcom Pro Tour is currently on a break, but the excitement for Capcom Cup 11 is building as we already know all 48 participants. Following the conclusion of the World Warrior circuit, EventHubs provided insightful statistics on the most popular characters at the highest levels of play. Surprisingly, despite nearly two hundred players (counting eight finalists from 24 regions), only one player opted for Ryu. Even the recently added Terry Bogard found favor with two players.

Currently, the most popular characters on the professional scene are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each chosen as the main character by 17 players. Following them, there's a noticeable drop-off, with the next tier featuring Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (both 11 players), and JP and Chun-Li (both with 10 players). Among the less popular choices, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each being the main character for seven players.
