The renowned strategy game series expands with *Age of Empires Mobile* introducing its innovative Mercenaries System, empowering players with enhanced control and strength over their military forces. This exciting feature becomes available once players reach Level 26, unlocking the Mercenary Camp where they can enlist and recruit formidable mercenary units. Not only can players hire these mercenaries, but they can also unlock and enhance technologies exclusive to these elite warriors, tailoring their strategies to their unique strengths.

Each mercenary group brings its own specialized skills to the battlefield:

Byzantine Cataphract:

• Increase the damage of all hero skills of the army by [2%]
• After the troops inflict skill damage, all damage received by our troops is reduced by [3.5%] for [3] seconds

Swiss Pikeman:

• Increase the probability of triggering the hero’s pursuit/active skills of all troops by [1%]
• Reduce all damage received by troops by [2%]

Korean Archer:

• Increase the probability of triggering the hero’s pursuit/active skills of all troops by [1%]
• Reduce all damage received by troops by [2%]

Players have the opportunity to recruit their first mercenaries at no cost by participating in a special event that's currently running alongside the system's launch.
