Attention all CrossCode and 2.5D-style RPG enthusiasts! Radical Fish Games has unveiled their highly anticipated next title, Alabaster Dawn, a thrilling 2.5D action RPG that plunges you into a world tasked with resurrecting humanity after a devastating divine event. Dive in to explore the studio's exciting announcement.
The studio has also teased the release of a public demo for Alabaster Dawn in the near future, aligning with its planned Early Access debut in late 2025.
For those heading to Gamescom this year, Radical Fish Games will be showcasing Alabaster Dawn. Attendees will have the exclusive opportunity for a hands-on experience, though spots are limited. "However, we’ll be at our booth from Wednesday to Friday, ready to chat with fans, so be sure to stop by!" the studio announced.
Alabaster Dawn unfolds in the shattered world of Tiran Sol, a landscape ravaged by the goddess Nyx, transforming it into a desolate wasteland and erasing both gods and humanity. As Juno, the Outcast Chosen, players embark on a quest to revive humanity and break Nyx's curse.
The game promises an immersive experience spanning 30-60 hours, with seven distinct regions to explore. Players will engage in rebuilding efforts, establish trade routes, and partake in dynamic combat reminiscent of iconic titles like Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and CrossCode. With eight unique weapons, each featuring its own skill tree, along with parkour, puzzles, enchantments, and cooking mechanics, Alabaster Dawn offers a rich gameplay variety.
The developers are proud to announce that Alabaster Dawn has reached a crucial milestone, with the first 1-2 hours of gameplay nearly complete. "It may not sound like much, but achieving this level of playability is a significant step for us," the team shared, highlighting their progress.
