Albion Online has kicked off 2025 with a thrilling update named Rogue Frontier, embracing the theme of living on the edge. This update introduces a new faction, innovative trading methods, and exciting new weapons. Players can now immerse themselves in an underground network of outcasts who live by their own rules.
The Smugglers are the epitome of rebellion and nonconformity, having grown tired of the Royal Continent's stringent regulations. They've established themselves in the lawless wilds, creating hidden hideouts known as Smuggler's Dens. These dens serve as bases where players can store their loot and engage in various illicit activities.
Equipped with banks, repair stations, and travel planners, these dens are integral to the Smuggler's Network—a new trading system that revolutionizes how goods are moved across the Outlands. This system allows players to bypass the Royal Continent's taxes and bureaucratic hassles, though at a cost to the Smugglers themselves.
The Smugglers have evolved into a full-fledged Faction, offering missions that test your loyalty. You might find yourself tracking down stolen Smuggler Crates from ambushed wagons or rescuing captured Smugglers from the Royal Guards. Completing these tasks earns you Smuggler's Coins, which you can use to climb the ranks within their society.
The Rogue Frontier Update doesn't stop at the Smugglers. It introduces several long-awaited features to enhance your Albion Online experience. The new Bank Overview feature allows you to easily track where your items are stored throughout the game world, eliminating the hassle of remembering where you stashed that rare loot.
For PvP enthusiasts, Kill Trophies have been added, providing a way to immortalize your most memorable battles. Additionally, the Albion Journal now includes a Creatures category, encouraging players to document the diverse beasts that roam the wilds.
The update also introduces three new Crystal Weapons tailored for explorers, traders, and fighters. To explore all these new additions, head over to the Google Play Store and download Albion Online.
