Starting today, Dell is offering an incredible deal on the Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC, now equipped with the cutting-edge GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, for just $2,399.99 shipped. This is an unbeatable price for an RTX 5080-equipped prebuilt system, especially considering that other brands have been steadily increasing their prices since the RTX 50 series launch in January. At Dell, the only other prebuilt PC with an RTX 5080 GPU is priced over $4,000. If you're considering building your own DIY PC, finding a standalone RTX 5080 GPU could cost as much as this entire system.
Update: Dell, like other manufacturers, has been affected by tariffs. With the ongoing stock issues surrounding the Blackwell cards, prices for Alienware gaming desktops with RTX 50 series GPUs are expected to rise soon.

This Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC features an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU, GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265F Meteor Lake CPU reaches a max turbo frequency of 5.3GHz with 20 cores and a 30MB cache. The system is cooled by a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler and powered by a 1,000W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.
The RTX 5080 is one of the three new Blackwell graphics cards, which are currently in high demand and hard to find. In our Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 FE review, Jackie noted, "If you already have a high-end graphics card from the last couple of years, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 might not be worth the upgrade – it doesn't significantly outperform the RTX 4080, though the DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation does enhance gameplay in supported titles. However, for gamers with older graphics cards seeking a substantial performance boost, the RTX 5080 is a great choice, especially if you're interested in Nvidia’s AI enhancements."
The initial batch of Nvidia GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards sold out within the first hour of preorders. The highest-end models, the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, were released first, followed by the RTX 5070 Ti in February. Prebuilt gaming PCs with these new GPUs are either out of stock, have increased in price, or are facing extended delivery delays.
