Com2uS has just released an enchanting new adventure game for Android called Minion Rumble, and you can almost feel the charm oozing from the title. Imagine summoning a battle-ready capybara while sipping your favorite drink and fending off zombie-like hordes. That's the relaxed yet thrilling vibe Minion Rumble brings to the table!
You can dive into the fun of Minion Rumble if you're in the US, Canada, the UK, Indonesia, Malaysia, or the Philippines. This casual roguelike combines .io-style legion battles with a unique twist. As the Summoner, you lead your squad, which includes Champions and Minions, into battle. The game is filled with quirky and enjoyable moments, like teaming up a bowmaster fairy and a battle-hardened shooter with a cat Champion to decimate endless waves of foes.
The vertical, one-handed gameplay of Minion Rumble ensures you can play it with ease. It keeps you on your toes by throwing random skill cards and Champions at you during runs, making each playthrough unique. So, if you were banking on using that overpowered swordmaster, you might need to adapt to a different strategy.
Beyond the battles, Minion Rumble features a gear system that lets you enhance your wand, arrows, or sword as you progress. Plus, there's an offline rewards system that keeps stacking up loot for you, even when you're not playing.
The first event, Pudding Paradise, runs until April 17th. It's a quest-and-dice event where you can earn Pudding Plates, which you can then trade for rewards, including Epic Champion Selection Chests.
Next up is the Puddiebean Fusion Festival, live until April 24th. Here, you'll need to collect Puddiebeans from quests and fuse them into gear, some of which can be S-tier.
Don't forget the pre-registration rewards, which include 10,000 Gold and the Epic Champion Capyboo. Capyboo is a tanky little unit that's as resilient as it is adorable.
Minion Rumble supports seven languages and is free to play. You can find it on the Google Play Store.
