Anno 117: Pax Romana Trailer Released Roman Empire Expansion Gameplay

Ubisoft Mainz has unveiled a new trailer showcasing exciting details about Anno 1800: Pax Romana. While previous announcements highlighted exploration of Lazio and Albion, the trailer suggests Lazio serves as a prologue before the main game unfolds in Albion.

Creative Director Manuel Rainer explains that Lazio starts idyllically, but a catastrophic event forces players to explore the challenging lands of Britain (Albion). Albion presents harsh conditions: a brutal climate, rebellious tribes, and its remoteness from Rome creates significant governance challenges.

Players become governors, tasked with overcoming these obstacles through diplomacy and strategic management, not just military might. Respecting local customs is key to success. A unique feature is the customizable ships, allowing players to choose between speed (via oarsmen) and firepower (with onboard archery turrets).

Anno 1800: Pax Romana is set for release in 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X.
