Ubisoft showcases the enhanced PC features of Assassin's Creed Shadows in a new trailer. The video highlights support for advanced upscaling technologies, ultra-wide monitor compatibility, ray tracing effects (RTGI and RT Reflections), and extensive configuration options for systems with varying specifications.
At launch, the PC version will boast compatibility with DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2. A built-in benchmark tool is also included for performance testing and verification of ultra-wide monitor support.
Minimum specifications for 1080p at 30 FPS include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, coupled with an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8 GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8 GB) GPU. To achieve 4K resolution at 60 FPS with maximum settings and advanced ray tracing, players will require an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor and an RTX 4090 (24 GB) graphics card.
Ubisoft collaborated with Intel to optimize Assassin's Creed Shadows for Intel processors. Post-launch performance analysis on AMD systems is planned. The community anticipates improvements over previous entries in the series, which have experienced stuttering issues. Assassin's Creed Mirage demonstrated noticeable progress in this area compared to Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.
Assassin's Creed Shadows launches March 20th on PC and consoles.
