The Emergence mission in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 marks the campaign's halfway point and represents a significant departure from traditional gameplay. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough.

Navigating the Kentucky BioTech Facility

The mission begins with Case and Marshall entering a Kentucky BioTech facility filled with toxic gas, necessitating gas masks. An elevator malfunction leads to a fall, gas mask breakage, and subsequent hallucinations.

After the initial chaos, locate a locked red-lit door. Use a hatchet found on a mannequin to force it open. Proceed through the hallway, up the stairs, and to a central elevator.

Activating the elevator triggers a zombie encounter (hallucination). Eliminate them with the hatchet. A phone call directs you to the biotechnology room, requiring four director's cards (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow). You'll receive a map to the Yellow card.

Acquiring the Yellow Card and Grappling Hook

From the security console, follow the map to a yellow staircase leading to the Director's office. Solve the computer puzzle ("Access" and "Lift") to access the A.C.R. room. More zombies await.

A mannequin holding the Yellow card transforms into an abomination. Before engaging, gather armor, weapons, and crucially, the grappling hook. Use explosives (C4 or grenades) to efficiently eliminate the abomination and its zombie horde. Retrieve the Yellow card.

Securing the Green Card

Use the grappling hook to ascend from the A.C.R. room. Next, obtain the Green card from the Administration Facility. Grapple to the facility; a phone call will initiate a file-finding puzzle.

Locate four documents (one on a corner desk, one near a round table, one on a central table, and one in the cafe). Place them in the file display. A red mannequin attacks; subdue it with the grappling hook until it transforms into a Mangler Zombie. The Green card is your reward.

Obtaining the Blue Card

Grapple across to the Joint Projects Facility. Answer the ringing phone. Locate the Blue card within a glass chamber surrounded by camera stands. Eliminate the spawned mimic to claim the card.

Retrieving the Red Card

Head to the East Wing, following red carpets to stairs and a room with water, a console, and a Mangler. Interact with the console to reveal the Red card. Use the grappling hook to reach the upper area, swim through a red tunnel, climb ladders, and eliminate zombies. Unlock a door using a blacklight-revealed code.

Activate a timer and turn drain switches within 25 seconds (one in the initial room, one in the unlocked room, and one accessed via grappling hook). Drain the water, follow the Mangler's path, defeat it and its horde to obtain the Red card.

Confronting the Disciple

Return to the security desk, insert all four cards, and take the elevator. Eliminate any pursuing zombies. Answer the phone in the BioTech room to trigger a final confrontation with numerous zombies and the Disciple. The ensuing cinematic reveals the events as a hallucination.
