Conquering the Alpha Doshaguma in Monster Hunter Wilds: A Comprehensive Guide
While monsters typically inhabit the wilderness, occasional village attacks necessitate strategic combat. This guide focuses on defeating the formidable Alpha Doshaguma in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Doshaguma Overview:
Combat Strategies:
Flash Pods: Doshaguma's agility poses a challenge. Employ Flash Pods to temporarily stun it, creating openings for attacks or mounting opportunities.
Strategic Targeting: Prioritize attacks on the forelegs (3-star weakness). While less effective, the head (3-star weakness) and tail (breakable) are viable targets.
Elemental Advantage: Utilize fire and lightning attacks. Bowgun users should stock Flaming and Thunder ammo. Weapon decorations enhancing fire skills are also beneficial. Focus fire attacks on the head and torso; lightning attacks are most effective on the head.
Blastblight Mitigation: Doshaguma inflicts Blastblight, leading to self-detonation. Counter this with Nulberries, Deodorant, or consecutive dodge rolls (up to three).
Environmental Traps: Utilize natural traps within Doshaguma's roaming area. Remember to sheath your weapon before deploying traps using your slinger, ensuring the monster is directly above.
Capturing Doshaguma:
To capture Doshaguma, reduce its HP to 20% or less. Set a Shock or Pitfall Trap, then lure it into the trap using Luring Ammo or meat. Once trapped, administer tranquilizer ammo repeatedly until it's incapacitated.
Preparation is Key: Before engaging Doshaguma, consume a hearty meal to maximize your hunter's buffs.
Monster Hunter Wilds is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
