Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game

Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards ceremony, a partnership with the BIG Festival, featuring a prestigious presentation of winners across thirteen categories.

A panel of 49 judges selected the finalists, all playable at a prominent Sao Paulo Expo booth. Notably, mobile and PC games were showcased together, highlighting the equal importance of both platforms.

The "Best Mobile Game" award went to Triband ApS' "What the Car?", a title previously featured in an article highlighting lesser-known gems. This win further underscores the game's quality and deserves its growing recognition.

While "What the Car?" took home the top prize, the other nominees also deserve recognition for their high-quality gameplay:
