"Chainsaw Man Movie Hits U.S. Theaters in October"

Sony Pictures has thrilled fans with the announcement of the release date for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, set to slice its way into US theaters on October 29, 2025. This exciting news was revealed during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they confirmed acquiring worldwide theatrical rights (excluding Japan) to bring this eagerly anticipated adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s work to audiences this fall. US viewers can mark their calendars for late October, while over 80 other countries will see the film hit their screens on September 24, 2025. In Japan, Toho will handle the release starting September 19, 2025.

Originally announced in December 2023, this film serves as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young protagonist who, after striking a deal with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita, gains a new lease on life. With the ability to sprout chainsaws from various parts of his body, Denji evolves into more than just a simple Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc introduces a pivotal character from the manga, Reze, and is helmed by director Tatsuya Yoshihara with Hiroshi Seko penning the script. The entire voice cast from the original series will return to reprise their roles, ensuring continuity and familiarity for fans.
