It's becoming a trend to place players in the shoes of seemingly harmless animals pushed to the brink of violence. From Squirrel With a Gun to Goose Game and Goat Simulator, it appears that some developers think farm animals are just a bad day away from losing it. This Chicken Got Hands is a prime example of this phenomenon.
The title itself grabbed our attention, and while the game might not be groundbreaking, it certainly delivers on its premise. In This Chicken Got Hands, you take control of a chicken driven to destruction by the theft of its eggs. The gameplay involves racing around a visually appealing 3D-rendered farm, where you'll crash, bash, and smash your farmer's property to pieces in an attempt to annoy and inconvenience him.
The game features a race against the clock, allowing you to upgrade your stats and abilities as you engage in fast-paced, frenetic chicken-based action. While the graphics may seem a bit exaggerated, with noticeable depth of field effects, the overall experience promises to be quite entertaining.
How much?! One aspect that caught my eye was the in-app purchase prices listed in the store. Typically, we avoid discussing these, but the range from £0.99 to a staggering £38.99 is noteworthy. What exactly these purchases are for remains a mystery, but it raises questions about what this frenetic flight of a feathered fiend for freedom might be concealing.
