Even before the official release of Civ 7, Firaxis Games is already preparing to expand the game with the "Crossroads of the World" DLC. This DLC, included with the Deluxe and Founders' Editions, introduces two new leaders, four new civilizations, and four new natural wonders, spread across two releases in early and late March 2025.

New Civs, Leaders, and Wonders

The early March release features Ada Lovelace (Great Britain), Carthage, and four new natural wonders. Simón Bolívar (leading Nepal and Bulgaria) will be added later in March. While specifics are scarce, we can speculate on their potential abilities and bonuses based on historical context.

Leader and Civilization Predictions:
- Ada Lovelace (Great Britain): Given her pioneering work in computer programming, she'll likely focus on science and technology, potentially through Codex and Specialist bonuses. Great Britain might receive bonuses related to naval production and trade, reflecting its historical maritime dominance.

- Simón Bolívar (Nepal & Bulgaria): His historical role as a military leader suggests a militaristic/expansionist playstyle, possibly leveraging the new Commanders mechanic. Nepal might focus on military and cultural advantages, benefiting from mountainous terrain. Bulgaria, given its location and history, could emphasize military and economic strengths, potentially with cavalry bonuses or social policy advantages.

- Carthage: Its historical wealth and trading prowess suggest a focus on trade, potentially through Trade Route capacity and Culture bonuses. A Colossus wonder bonus is also plausible.

- Great Britain: Likely a Modern Age civilization with bonuses related to its industrial era dominance, perhaps tied to naval production, trade, and Oxford University.

- Nepal: A Modern Age civilization, likely specializing in military and cultural advantages, with units that benefit from mountainous terrain.

- Bulgaria: An Exploration Age civilization, possibly emphasizing military and economic strengths, with a focus on cavalry or social policies.

Natural Wonders:
The DLC will also introduce four new natural wonders, which, following Civ 7's design, will likely provide passive tile yield bonuses.
