DC Studios has unveiled a new Superman trailer, offering a three-minute glimpse into the highly anticipated film.
Directed by James Gunn and scheduled for release on July 11, 2025, the movie features an expansive roster of superheroes and villains, many of whom are showcased more prominently in this preview. The trailer highlights Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner / Green Lantern effortlessly deflecting foes, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and provides the clearest look yet at María Gabriela de Faría's portrayal of The Engineer.
The trailer confirms it is The Engineer who demolishes the robotic caretakers in Superman's Fortress of Solitude, which likely includes Kelex. (A previous trailer depicted a grieving Superman holding Kelex in the aftermath of a conflict.)
During the confrontation, Krypto the Superdog is seen delivering a powerful aerial punch to The Engineer, demonstrating the canine hero's willingness to engage directly with threats.
Additional scenes feature Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult) and Ultraman in action, alongside expanded roles for Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific and Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason / Metamorpho. The Hammer of Boravia, introduced in yesterday's teaser, makes an anticipated appearance in the full trailer. This new character, created specifically for the film by Gunn, is widely believed to be Ultraman in disguise.

The dynamic between Clark Kent and Lois Lane takes center stage, with Lois conducting an interview with a fully suited Superman. Their discussion appears to escalate into a heated argument concerning the ethics of Superman's controversial military intervention abroad ("I was acting on my own behalf... to do good!"). This intervention prompts The Hammer of Boravia to launch an assault on Downtown Metropolis in retaliation.
Another scene, likely from the battle with The Hammer of Boravia, shows a civilian assisting Superman after he has been thrown into a crater. This moment of public support contrasts sharply with other footage depicting crowds shouting at the hero and even hurling objects in his direction.
