Panam Palmer is a captivating romance option for V in Cyberpunk 2077, offering a journey filled with adventure and emotional depth. Winning her heart involves navigating several quests throughout Act 2, which can be a rewarding experience amidst the chaos of Night City. To start, players must be using the Male V Voice and Male V Body Type to pursue a relationship with her.
To begin romancing Panam, players should follow the sequence of missions outlined below, making specific choices to deepen their connection with her.
Ghost Town is a pivotal Main Job that you'll encounter after the Playing for Time quest at the beginning of Act 2. Here, you'll meet Johnny Silverhand's former flame, Rogue Amendiares, who directs you to Panam Palmer, a Nomad with a fiery spirit. Although your initial encounter with Panam might be rocky, helping her recover her car from the Raffen at Rocky Ridge can set the stage for a blossoming relationship.
When Panam seeks your help to get revenge on Nash, respond with "OK. So where’s this hideout?" to join her in taking down the Raffen Shiv. After the mission, ask her, "Feel better now?" to transition to a celebratory moment at the Sunset Motel. Here, you can toast to her ride or what's ahead, and when she mentions getting a room, flirt by suggesting, "Maybe we get just one room?" Even if she doesn't immediately catch your drift, it's a crucial step toward building rapport. End the mission by retiring to the motel.
After waking up at the Sunset Motel, head to the garage to kick off Lightning Breaks. You'll assist Panam in taking down a Kang Tao AV and kidnapping Anders Hellman. Stick close to Panam and follow her lead to smoothly transition into the next quest, Life During Wartime.
At the crashed Kang Tao AV, you'll team up with Panam to rescue Mitch. It doesn't matter who takes the shot at the guard, but expressing empathy by saying, "I’m sorry about Scorpion," is a thoughtful gesture. When confronted by Saul and the Aldecaldos, stand up for Panam by saying, "It really wasn’t Panam’s fault." After the mission, respond to Panam's message with, "Maybe Mitch was right. You should go back. Settle everything once and for all." Then, wait a few in-game hours or days before Panam calls you to start Riders of the Storm.
Head to the Aldecaldos Camp promptly after starting Riders of the Storm, as failing to do so within 24 in-game hours will jeopardize Panam’s romance quests. When Panam asks for your help to rescue Saul from the Wraiths, affirm your friendship by saying, "We’re chooms, that’s why," and opt to ride with her by selecting, "Yeah, ‘course."
During the mission, save Saul and escape into the sandstorm. Defuse the tension between Panam and Saul by choosing either "Let’s take it easy – you’re both tired," or "Shitty idea, Panam’s right." This will lead to a playful exchange at a makeshift motel, where you can flirt with Panam by saying, "Pleased with your stay, ma’am?", "You’d be more comfortable with your shoes off, ma’am," and "[Touch Panam’s thigh] Got a few ideas." Though she may reject your advances initially, the next morning, stop her and say, "Wait. About last night…" This will result in a kiss, solidifying your bond as she rides off into the Badlands.
After a few in-game days, Panam will call you to assist at the Aldecaldos Camp with the mission With a Little Help from My Friends. Agree to help by selecting, "OK, I’m in," and opt to ride with her by choosing, "I’m riding with you."
At the trainyard, after climbing the tower with Panam, engage in a meaningful conversation. Choose the following options to deepen your connection:
After leaving the tower, join the Aldecaldos around the campfire and select "[Scooch closer] Gotten kinda cold" to further your bond with Panam.
After With a Little Help from My Friends, wait an in-game day away from the Aldecaldos Camp. Once Panam calls, return to the camp and enter the Basilisk with her. Flirt by saying, "Nice and cozy in here." After driving and shooting abandoned cars, sync your synapses with Panam by selecting, "[Let Panam touch you] Oh, yeah. Let’s go," leading to a romantic scene that solidifies your relationship.
At the Aldecaldos Camp after the Basilisk battle, continue to nurture your relationship by selecting:
After the Relic's malfunction, when asked to stay by Mitch and Saul, respond with, "I can stay for a bit. Thanks." As Panam walks you to your vehicle, choose:
This marks the completion of Panam’s romance quests, unlocking The Star ending and establishing a lasting romance with her.
Thanks to Cyberpunk 2077’s Update 2.1, players can engage in the mission I Really Want To Stay At Your House once a character is romanced. After romancing Panam, you can invite her over to any of V’s apartments (except for Dogtown) for a cozy night in. Although you won't explore Night City together, spending time together at home can further deepen your connection.
