The document reveals that fans will have to wait until 2026 to experience the game—a further delay from its previously announced 2025 release date.

Sad Cat Studios, the developers behind Replaced, have described the game's development as a "unique challenge." Originally slated for a 2022 launch, the game faced subsequent postponements to 2023 and then to the previous year. Despite these setbacks, Sad Cat remains dedicated to delivering a high-quality product, fueled by the game's widespread attention and the high expectations of its fanbase.

Replaced was first unveiled to the public in 2021 during Microsoft's presentation at the now-discontinued E3 event.

While Sad Cat has yet to officially address this latest delay, the studio continues to engage with its community by sharing periodic updates. This summer, they provided a glimpse into the game's mechanics through combat footage and a mini-game demonstration.
