Marvel Studios has unveiled the much-anticipated first trailer for its upcoming Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again, showcasing the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, a role he famously portrayed in the Netflix series. Set to premiere on March 4, the show brings back a host of beloved characters, including Vincent D'Onofrio reprising his role as the formidable Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal as the relentless Frank Castle, better known as The Punisher.
The trailer teases a thrilling reunion of the main characters amidst intense and brutal action sequences. Daredevil is back in action, tackling the criminal underworld of New York City's Hell's Kitchen with his signature ferocity. A highlight of the trailer is the unlikely alliance formed between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk as they confront a new and sinister threat: the artistically inclined serial killer known as Muse. The trailer offers a chilling glimpse of Muse, complete with his iconic bleeding eye white mask, adding a new layer of menace to the series.
Muse, a relatively recent addition to Daredevil's roster of villains, was created by Charles Soule and Ron Garney and first appeared in 2016's Daredevil #11. His inclusion in the series promises to bring a fresh challenge to the Man Without Fear.
Additionally, fans are treated to a brief first look at Wilson Bethel returning as Bullseye, another iconic Daredevil adversary. Bethel, who played the role of Benjamin Poindexter in Season 3 of the Netflix series, brings depth and complexity to the character, having appeared in 11 out of 13 episodes. Introduced in the Netflix MCU, Bethel's portrayal of Bullseye provided a compelling and tragic origin story, revitalizing the character who originally debuted in 1976's Daredevil #131. Viewers are eager to see how his narrative unfolds in this new chapter.
