The South Korean regulator GRAC has recently assigned an age rating of "19+" to the highly anticipated game, *Death Stranding 2: On the Beach*. This rating is attributed to the game's content, which includes "excessive violence," "excessive profanity, profanity and swearing," and scenes depicting the use of various illegal substances. This classification underscores the mature themes that players can expect to encounter in the game.

In related news, Hideo Kojima, the visionary behind the game, recently expressed his gratitude to actress Shiori Kutsuna for her contributions to *Death Stranding 2*. Kojima presented her with flowers as a token of appreciation for her dedication. Kutsuna's involvement in the project included performing motion capture in Los Angeles, undergoing 3D scanning, and providing voice recordings in both Japanese and English across various locations, all while navigating the challenges of the ongoing pandemic. Her work on the game began in the fall of 2022, and Kojima praised her efforts, stating, "Fantastic work, much obliged!"

At the Tokyo Game Show 2024, Hideo Kojima unveiled new materials for *Death Stranding 2: On the Beach*. The presentation featured several two-minute cutscenes that introduced viewers to the protagonist's allies. Among them is Tarman, portrayed by George Miller, who serves as the captain of the mobile base Magellan, navigating through tar lakes. Another character, Dollman, a living doll and former medium who has lost his human form, is brought to life by Fatih Akin. Additionally, Léa Seydoux reprises her role as Fragile, a familiar face from the original game.

A new character, Tomorrow, played by Elle Fanning, adds an enigmatic element to the storyline. According to the plot, she was discovered in an otherworldly location resembling the realm of the dead. This ties back to the original game's tagline, "Tomorrow is in your hands," hinting at deeper connections within the narrative.

One of the cutscenes showcased features the characters singing the iconic song "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head," composed by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, while interacting with a pregnant woman named Rainy, portrayed by Shiori Kutsuna. This scene not only highlights the game's emotional depth but also its connection to cultural touchstones.
