The New Denpa Men has officially arrived on Android devices, following its initial release on the Nintendo Switch in July 2024. Developed and published by Genius Sonority, this version brings some unique features and differences from its console counterpart.
One of the standout features of The New Denpa Men on Android is its support for cross-platform play. If you've already been catching and battling Denpa Men on the Switch, you can seamlessly transfer your progress and continue your adventure on your mobile device. This ensures that your journey with these quirky creatures never has to pause.
Exclusive to the mobile version, a new feature called QR Catch has been introduced. Instead of the Normal Catch available on the Switch, you can now scan nearby QR codes to add new Denpa Men to your team. However, some features from the Switch version, such as Together Catch and Offline Catch, are not available on mobile.
Additionally, the Android version introduces Voucher Collection. After battles, monsters may drop vouchers called Akashi at random. Collecting these vouchers helps you complete your collection, and they can be gifted to friends or used in battles, adding a new layer of strategy and engagement.
Another exciting addition is the ability to use scarecrows to summon monsters. These summoned creatures will join you in battle, attacking enemies and healing your party, which can be a game-changer during tough encounters. To see these features in action, check out the game's trailer below.
The Denpa Men are fascinating little creatures that float around invisibly in the airwaves. Your mission is to catch them, train them, and embark on exciting adventures. The game offers a mix of dungeon-crawling, island decoration, and interactions with your Denpa Men. You can also go fishing and explore various event-based and extra stages that evolve over time, ensuring there's always something new to discover.
You can download The New Denpa Men from the Google Play Store. It's primarily designed for touchscreen controls, but you can also use a controller for a more traditional gaming experience.
