Design Home partners with HGTV, launching challenges inspired by Fixer to Fabulous and House Hunters.
Beginning February 19th, players can participate in weekly design challenges based on popular episodes like "Bentonville Beauty" and "Arkansas Amazement." These challenges utilize real-world furniture and decor from brands including West Elm, Jonathan Adler, Williams Sonoma, and Kathy Kuo. Players submit their designs for voting and rewards.
Further challenges inspired by House Hunters will follow, tasking players with designing rooms that reflect the needs and preferences of fictional homebuyers. This requires balancing style with practicality, testing creative skills within the game's extensive catalog.
The collaboration extends beyond the game; Design Home will be featured in a Fixer to Fabulous episode airing March 25th at 8/7c on HGTV, and streaming on Max and discovery+ the following day. Hosts Dave and Jenny Marrs will showcase their design talents by tackling Design Home challenges.
With over 131 million players, 18,000 challenges, nearly 100 brand partnerships, and 61,000 furniture and decor items, Design Home offers a vast array of design possibilities. Players can create diverse spaces, from cozy living rooms to modern kitchens, reflecting their individual styles.
