These side quests, although optional, are some of the most memorable parts of the game. From transforming into pigs to competing in a deadly game show, these stories add depth and fun to your journey. If you're aiming to unlock the achievement tied to completing all 12 Side Stories, here's a comprehensive guide on how to find each one.

How to Find All Side Stories in Split Fiction

Within Chapters 2 through 5, you'll encounter a total of 12 different Side Stories, with three in each chapter. Here's how to locate them all:

Legend of the Sandfish – The first Side Story in *Split Fiction* is encountered naturally in Chapter 2 after completing the Rush Hour section. You can't miss it.

Farmlife – Located in Chapter 2 within the Streets of Neon section, you'll find this Side Story after hopping over a small barrier and before you take the elevators on the left.

Mountain Hike – The final Side Story in Chapter 2 can be found in the Big City Life section. Reach the Port-A-Pottys, have Mio hop into one, then use Zoe to throw her over to a ledge opposite them with a small ladder. Have Mio drop the ladder to access it.

Train Heist – The first Side Story in Chapter 3, found in the Lord Evergreen section, is on a ledge that Mio and Zoe will need to wall run to reach while navigating water with a plank of wood.

Gameshow – In Chapter 3's Walking Sticks of Doom section, after the side-scrolling segment, you'll find this Side Story on a platform that requires minor platforming to reach.

Collapsing Star – The last Side Story in Chapter 3 is in the Halls of Ice section. It's on the main path and impossible to miss as you make your way through the palace.

Kites – The first Side Story in Chapter 4, located in the Toxic Tumblers section, can be found at the end of the long tube.

Moon Market – In the Test Chamber section of Chapter 4, after opening the door post-crane sequence, you'll see this Side Story on a ledge to the left, reachable after some platforming.

Notebook – The final Side Story in Chapter 4 is in the Soaring Desperados section. Once you get the jetpack, avoid the giant wheel and hover to the left-hand side of the room where the story awaits.

Slopes of War – The first Side Story of Chapter 5, found in the Water Temple section, requires you to solve a lever puzzle on the left after crossing the golden balls to unlock it.

Space Escape – The penultimate Side Story in Chapter 5's Craft Temple section requires you to launch Mio to a ledge using her glide and Zoe's roll after defeating the dragon, then have Mio drop a column for Zoe to climb.

Birthday Cake – The last Side Story of *Split Fiction*, found in Chapter 5's Treasure Temple section, becomes accessible after completing the soul puzzle, located to your left.

Upon completing all 12 Side Stories, you will automatically unlock the Bookworms achievement in *Split Fiction*.
