How to Find the Cat Island in Assassin's Creed Shadows

Your destination is Lake Biwa, a vast expanse of water central to the region. For the smoothest journey, it's advisable to secure a boat from nearby settlements like Azuchi or Omizo. Alternatively, you can swim, though a boat will make your trip more efficient.

Navigate to the larger island in the middle of the lake, just northwest of Azuchi. As you approach, the game will unveil Okishima, an island complete with a Kakurega for resting. You'll notice plenty of fish being dried near the docks, a sure sign that this place is a haven for certain animals.

To immerse yourself in the cat-filled environment of Okishima, head north towards the Leap of Faith. As you ascend, you'll begin to spot more and more cats. Don't miss the chance to pet them; this adds them to your collection for use in the Hideout, and the rare kittens here are a special find.

While Leaps of Faith often reveal new map locations, the true treasure on Okishima is the companionship of your new feline friends. After exploring and taking the Leap of Faith into the haystack, you can revisit the cats at your leisure. Additionally, you'll return to Okishima later in Yasuke's storyline, adding another layer of excitement to your journey.
