A new physics-based mobile game centered around aliens and UFOs has arrived on Android. Developed by indie studio Rabble Games, Drop Zone Galaxy puts a humorous spin on the classic alien abduction scenario.
The game originally launched on itch.io in October 2024 and is now available on the Google Play Store in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. It is free to download and play.
In Drop Zone Galaxy, abducted humans unwillingly participate in an intergalactic game show. Players pilot a UFO, dropping ragdoll humans from above with the goal of landing them on specific targets. The challenge lies in navigating unpredictable obstacles along the way.
The game's physics-driven mechanics make every bounce, throw, and teleportation a unique experience. With around 60 levels—referred to as episodes—players aim for precision drops, collect coins, and strive for three-star ratings by hitting every target.
Earning stars unlocks rewards, including in-game currency to spend at the UFO shop. Here, players can purchase cosmetic upgrades to customize their flying saucers.

Drop Zone Galaxy features straightforward controls—just a single tap to release a human, though timing is everything. The audio design enhances the experience with comical human screams and various thudding sounds as characters bounce off alien contraptions.
If you're searching for a lighthearted and entertaining game, give Drop Zone Galaxy a try on the Google Play Store. This marks Rabble Games Studio's second release, and the developers have also expressed interest in exploring tabletop games in the future. I can't wait to see what they come up with next.
