There's trouble at Miss Mulligatawney's School for Promising Girls. A prefect has been pushed from a window, and all fingers point to you. In Expelled!, the newest mystery from inkle, the minds behind Overboard!, you have until the day's end to prove your innocence—or frame someone else.
Set in April 1922, Expelled! centers on Verity Amersham, a scholarship student at an exclusive boarding school. Voiced by Amelia Tyler (Baldur’s Gate 3), Verity has always kept her head down. But being accused of attempted murder changes everything.
This isn't about simple dialogue options. Your every move—where you go, who you speak with, and what you say—shapes the narrative. Characters roam the school in real time, responding to events around them. Some may lend a hand; others will work against you. Who is truly on your side?

You can pursue the truth, or lie, misdirect, and manipulate your way to safety. Need an alibi? Persuade someone to vouch for you. Desperate? Shift the blame onto another. The further you stray from the rules, the more possibilities emerge.
Each session lasts roughly 30 to 45 minutes, but every run is unique. Your choices uncover new clues, alter endings, and reveal secrets scattered throughout the school. Discover why the cellar stays locked or what your closest friend is concealing. And if you manage to avoid expulsion, you could even aim for the title of Head Girl.

With a soundtrack featuring jazz icons like George Gershwin, Louis Armstrong, and Bessie Smith, Expelled! merges a gripping whodunit with a fluid, evolving plot. How you clear your name—and the lengths you'll go to achieve it—is your call.
Expelled! launches March 12 on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and iOS.
