First look: Farming Simulator comes to VR

Get ready for a truly immersive farming experience! Giants Software has announced Farming Simulator VR, bringing the popular farming sim to virtual reality. This "brand new" experience promises a deeper level of engagement.

Players will manage every aspect of their farm, from planting and harvesting crops with realistic equipment to tending greenhouses and maintaining vehicles. The community is already buzzing with excitement, even speculating about the consequences of accidentally getting too close to a combine harvester!

Launching February 28th, Farming Simulator VR will be available exclusively for Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S, and Quest Pro headsets.

Here's what awaits virtual farmers:

  • Complete Agricultural Cycle: From planting seeds to harvesting, packaging, and selling your produce.
  • Greenhouse Gardening: Cultivate tomatoes, eggplants, strawberries, and more in your own virtual greenhouse.
  • Authentic Machinery: Operate officially licensed equipment from Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere, and other leading manufacturers.
  • Workshop Maintenance: Repair and maintain your machines in a detailed workshop.
  • Enhanced Realism: Even includes pressure washing your equipment!
