NetEase Games unveiled their charming new life sim, Floatopia, at Gamescom, promising a release across multiple platforms, including Android, sometime in 2025. This whimsical game invites players to explore a world of floating islands and quirky characters.

The trailer depicts an idyllic, yet apocalyptic, setting. While the world is ending, it's a surprisingly cute and charming apocalypse, more akin to *My Time at Portia* than *Fallout*. This new reality features fractured lands suspended in the sky and humans with unique, albeit sometimes underwhelming, superpowers.

Players assume the role of Island Manager, engaging in familiar life-sim activities like farming, fishing, and decorating their floating island home.
