In Freedom Wars Remastered, players have numerous options to customize their loadouts for operations. While major components like weapons and Thrones are swapped out less frequently, Combat Items are consumable resources with versatile applications, yet they are finite.
You'll receive additional Combat Items sporadically as rewards for completing operations, but these might not be sufficient to fully prepare for your next mission. At the game's outset, you're limited to equipping only one Combat Item at a time. Here's how to address both issues effectively.
To equip more Combat Items, you'll first need to acquire specific Entitlements. While in your cell, interact with the Window On Liberty and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section within Entitlements and tab over to the right to find the One-Item Permit at the top. Each subsequent permit below this will increase your capacity to equip up to four Combat Items.
You can quickly unlock all four permits by reaching CODE level 3, as the story-based restrictions are easily met. Note that higher-level permits only appear after you've purchased the preceding ones. When you equip a Combat Item, such as a Frag Grenade, you'll have access to your entire stack of that item at the start of the operation.
Additionally, your Accessory can equip one Combat Item, which can be used at your discretion.
As you advance beyond the initial missions in the main story, you'll unlock access to The Warren, a central HUB area. On the upper level of The Warren, along the right side, you'll find a store called Zakka. Besides purchasing weapons, you can select the "Buy Items" option to access lists for Munitions and Medical Supplies.
Combat Items are sold individually, and purchasing large quantities can be costly in terms of Entitlement Points. Therefore, if you frequently need Medkits, consider donating old resources to gather more points. While Combat Items can also be obtained as rewards from Operations, this method isn't reliable for farming due to the time and resources required compared to the potential rewards.
