In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, your shoes will inevitably wear out, leaving you to wander barefoot unless you know how to acquire and repair them. Here’s a detailed guide on managing your footwear to keep you equipped and ready for adventure.

Starting the game with a basic pair of shoes, you won’t need to cling to them throughout your journey. You have several options for obtaining new footwear. You can discover shoes in chests or loot them from poachers and other human enemies. For a more legitimate approach, consider purchasing shoes.
While tailors, like the one in Troskowitz, do sell shoes, they often come with subpar stats. For better quality, seek out a cobbler. You can find a cobbler in Trosky, marked on the map by a symbol resembling three red pieces in a circle.

Cobblers, like Cobbler Matthew, offer a variety of items for sale, including shoes and horse equipment. You can also purchase materials and both Blacksmith’s Kits and Cobbler’s Kits from them.

Repairing shoes in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* can be done in multiple ways. You can have them fixed by visiting cobblers or blacksmiths and selecting the repair option. A menu will appear where you can choose which items to repair and see the associated costs. These costs may be reduced if you invest in perks within the Craftsmanship skill, which offer discounts on NPC repairs for all types of gear, including shoes and armor.
Alternatively, if you prefer self-reliance, you can attempt to repair your shoes yourself. This method depends on your Craftsmanship level; insufficient skill might prevent you from fixing your footwear. To repair shoes on your own, you’ll need a Cobbler’s Kit.
Cobbler’s Kits are available from various vendors, including cobblers and blacksmiths, and can also be found in chests or by looting NPCs. To use a Cobbler’s Kit, access your inventory, select the kit, and press the interact button (E on PC). This opens a menu showing damaged items that can be repaired with the kit. If an item appears faded, your skill level is too low to repair it. Otherwise, select the items you wish to repair and use the interact button again to fix them.
This guide covers everything you need to know about acquiring and repairing shoes in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For other types of gear, use the Blacksmith’s Kit in a similar manner. Alternatively, seek out a vendor capable of handling repairs to ensure your equipment remains in top condition.
