In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, there's a world of activities beyond just hunting down the largest creatures. If you're looking to unlock the A Prize Held High trophy or achievement, here's a detailed guide to help you achieve it.

How to Unlock the A Prize Held High Trophy/Achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds

Contrary to what the trophy's name might suggest, it's not about dragons or wyverns. Instead, your target is the elusive Curioshell Crab, which you can capture using the Capture Net.

Finding the Curioshell Crab can be a bit challenging as it appears across various maps. However, the most reliable spot we've found is in the Scarlet Forest. Start from the base camp and head towards Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp, located between Areas 2 and 6.

Once you reach this area, check the nearby puddle of water, a prime spawning spot for the Curioshell Crab. If it's not immediately visible, Alma can assist you. She'll mention if a creature nearby is holding something, signaling the presence of a Curioshell Crab.

Equip your Capture Net, aim carefully until the reticle turns orange, and fire to capture the crab. A successful capture will net you both a Curioshell Crab and an Ancient Wyvern Coin.

Keep in mind, the Curioshell Crab moves quickly, so anticipate its path and shoot ahead to secure your catch. Other potential hotspots include Area 13 in the Windward Plains and Area 8 in the Scarlet Forest, though it may also appear elsewhere on the maps.

That covers everything you need to know about unlocking the A Prize Held High trophy or achievement in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. For more tips and guides, be sure to check out The Escapist.

*Monster Hunter Wilds is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.*
