Fans of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor were thrilled to see new figures in this latest wave of Star Wars toys. Nightsister Merrin is featured in a new figure, while the series protagonist, Cal Kestis, is part of a three-pack set with Turgle and Skoova Stev. Notably, Cal's figure includes multiple interchangeable heads, including one sporting a handlebar mustache, which Houle highlighted as a key element of this release.
"We wanted to have fun with it," Houle shared with IGN. "This is one of my favorite packs from the panel. We started with the handlebar mustache and mullet, then added the clean-cut and short beard options. The handlebar mustache is almost the primary look for us—it's just so much fun."
Merrin's inclusion was a natural choice, given her significance in the Fallen Order/Survivor narrative. The challenge lay in accurately representing her unique Force abilities.
"It's tough to have Cal without Merrin," Reiff explained. "We're thrilled to finally bring Merrin to life, capturing her Force effect with the green blast, the intricate details of her new costume, and the face tattoos using inkjet technology. There's a beautiful subtlety to her character that fans are deeply invested in, and we're excited to expand that world."
This year's lineup also includes updated figures of Han Solo and Chewbacca, characters that have been staples in Hasbro's collections. Despite numerous iterations over the years, Houle believes there's always room for improvement.
"It's been a while since we've revisited them," Houle noted. "We've given them a complete overhaul with new tools and the latest articulation, allowing fans to enjoy these classic characters with modern technology. We've also made significant updates beyond just articulation. Our experience with Wookiees, particularly managing their long hair, has been invaluable."
Houle elaborated, "Despite Chewbacca's long hair, we used softer plastics to ensure seamless head movement. For Han, we added articulation to the top of the boot instead of the thigh to maintain the integrity of the red bars on his pants. It was crucial to keep that look clean."

Among the standout figures is The Ronin, inspired by the Star Wars: Visions anime anthology. This black-and-white figure, with its striking red katana lightsaber, is a Celebration-exclusive release. Both Houle and Reiff emphasized the importance of getting the details right for this special edition.
"We stayed true to the original design," Houle said. "We drew inspiration from Japanese culture, ensuring the packaging looked premium with magnets for opening, clean aesthetics, and hidden accessories. The watercoloring and overall attention to detail from packaging to engineering were paramount."
Reiff added, "We even used Japanese language for the exclusive packaging, which is unusual for us. But given that we're in Japan, we wanted to fully embrace the culture and create a special package in Japanese."
Hasbro also unveiled a new addition to the 1:1 scale Black Series helmet line: a meticulously detailed Death Trooper helmet. Reiff described it as, "A fully new tooled helmet for the Black Series Premium roleplay line. It looks like it's straight out of the movie, complete with weathering and lighting details. You can control the chin lights and spectre sensor lights with a button on the side. We worked closely with Lucasfilm to ensure accuracy, adding our own detailed interior to enhance the experience."
