Hearthstone Unveils Largest Mini-Set: Heroes of StarCraft

Get ready, Hearthstone fans! The Great Dark Beyond Mini-Set: Heroes of StarCraft is about to shake things up. This exciting new set is launching on January 21st, bringing with it a host of quests and challenges that will keep you engaged for hours. It's time to embrace the iconic factions of StarCraft as they make their grand entrance into Hearthstone.

Biggest Mini-Set Ever!

This isn't your average Mini-Set. While most Mini-Sets contain 38 cards, The Great Dark Beyond Mini-Set will boast a whopping 49 cards. That's right, 49 cards including 4 Legendary cards, 1 Epic, 20 Rares, and 24 Commons, making it the largest Mini-Set Hearthstone has ever released. Not only does it impress with its size, but it also brings a diverse range of cards to the table.

Each StarCraft faction contributes 5 multi-class cards, and let's not forget the neutral card star, Grunty, who will be making a big impact. You can get your hands on these cards by opening The Great Dark Beyond Hearthstone packs or by unlocking the full 94-card set. The standard version of the Mini-Set is available for 2500 Gold, while the all-Golden version will set you back 12,000 Gold.

Hearthstone Spotlights Factions in the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set

The Zerg faction is all about swarming the board and overwhelming your opponents. With Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Hunter, and Warlock under their command, and Sarah Kerrigan leading the charge, you'll love this faction if you enjoy generating an army of tokens.

The Protoss faction, featuring Druid, Mage, Priest, and Rogue, is led by High Templar Artanis. They focus on big plays with high-cost cards that become more affordable over time, setting the stage for explosive turns.

Lastly, the Terran faction includes Paladin, Shaman, and Warrior, with Jim Raynor at the helm. They introduce Starship synergies, allowing you to launch multiple Starships per game. The highlight here is The Battlecruiser, which comes with new art and the Mech minion type. If you possess a Signature Starship piece, you'll unlock the Signature-art version of the Battlecruiser.
