Mobile gaming often lacks substantial mech action, a void Exoloper aims to fill. Unlike overhead strategy games, Exoloper delivers immersive, first-person mech combat, offering a much-needed single-player mech simulator experience for mobile gamers. This is particularly exciting considering its pedigree: Anchorite Games, the developers behind the acclaimed space battle simulator Interloper, are at the helm.

A New Contender in a Niche Genre

The mech combat genre is undeniably niche. While Mechwarrior dominated in the late 90s and early 2000s, its recent entries (Mechwarrior 5 and Clans) haven't fully captured the same widespread appeal. Therefore, a spiritual successor on iOS is a welcome surprise. Although not as complex as Mechwarrior in terms of simulation, Exoloper still provides a significant level of immersion.
