Helldivers Prepare for Oct. 31 Warbond Drop

Arrowhead Studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment unveil the Truth Enforcers Warbond, a premium content pack for Helldivers 2, arriving October 31st, 2024. This substantial update offers much more than cosmetic additions; it's a complete arsenal upgrade.

This Halloween, bolster your Helldiver arsenal with the Truth Enforcers Warbond. This Warbond functions similarly to a battle pass, using earned Medals to unlock items. Unlike typical battle passes, purchases are permanent. Available for 1,000 Super Credits via the Acquisitions Center in your Destroyer ship's menu.

The Warbond emphasizes the Ministry of Truth's unwavering ideals. Expect cutting-edge weaponry and armor designed for any challenge.

New Weapons:

• PLAS-15 Loyalist Plasma Pistol: A versatile sidearm offering both rapid semi-automatic fire and powerful charged shots.
• SMG-32 Reprimand: A fast-firing submachine gun perfect for close-quarters combat.
• SG-20 Halt: A shotgun capable of switching between stun rounds and armor-piercing flechettes for crowd control.

New Armor Sets:

• UF-16 Inspector: Sleek, white light armor with red accents, featuring the "Proof of Faultless Virtue" cape and the Unflinching perk (reduces stagger from hits).
• UF-50 Bloodhound: Medium armor, also with red accents and the "Pride of the Whistleblower" cape, and the Unflinching perk.

Beyond weapons and armor, expect new banners, cosmetic patterns for your Hellpods, exosuits, and Pelican-1, plus the "At Ease" emote.

Dead Sprint Booster: Maintain sprinting and diving even with depleted stamina, at the cost of health – a high-risk, high-reward option.

Helldivers 2's Future

Despite a strong initial launch (peaking at 458,709 concurrent Steam players), Helldivers 2 saw a player base decline, partially due to initial account linking restrictions. While the concurrent player count has fluctuated, the Truth Enforcers Warbond aims to reignite interest and bring players back to the fight for Super Earth.
