HoYoverse's mobile hit, Zenless Zone Zero, continues its impressive market performance. The recent version 1.4 update, titled "And the Starfall Came," propelled the game to a record-breaking $8.6 million in daily mobile player spending – surpassing even its July 2024 launch figures.

AppMagic data reveals Zenless Zone Zero's mobile revenue has already exceeded $265 million. Update 1.4's success is attributed to the introduction of new characters like Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, alongside enhanced gameplay mechanics, fresh environments, and new game modes, all stimulating increased player spending.

The free availability of Harumasa as a promotional character, coupled with the Hoshimi Miyabi banner, significantly contributed to this revenue surge.

The 1.4 update's impact on player engagement was notably sustained. Unlike typical post-update spending dips, daily revenue remained above $1 million for over 11 consecutive days, and even surpassed $500,000 after two weeks.

While undeniably successful, Zenless Zone Zero's revenue still trails behind HoYoverse's flagship titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.
