Six Invitational 2025 Format
The format remains unchanged from 2024, but for newcomers, it may seem complex. The tournament unfolds in two phases: the group stage and a double-elimination playoff.
During the group stage, teams are divided into four groups and compete in a round-robin format. Each match is crucial, not only for survival but also for securing a better seeding in the playoffs.
The top four teams from each group enjoy a favorable start in the upper bracket of the playoffs, bypassing the first round and securing at least a 9th to 12th place finish. Teams finishing second and third also advance to the upper bracket, allowing them to lose one match without being eliminated, though they start from the first round. Teams in fourth place enter the playoffs via the lower bracket, facing immediate elimination with each loss. Unfortunately, teams that finish fifth are eliminated from the tournament.
