Kingambit Joins Pokémon Go in Crown Clash Event Next Month

As the Sweet Discoveries event winds down, Pokémon Go enthusiasts should ready themselves for the regal Crown Clash event, set to dazzle from May 10th to 18th. This event promises a royal affair, offering players the opportunity to evolve into the formidable Kingambit, adorn their Pokémon with crowns, hunt for shiny variants, and earn bonus XP through evolutions.

Kingambit, known as the Big Blade Pokémon, will make its grand entrance during the Crown Clash. To add this powerful Pokémon to your roster, you'll need to evolve Bisharp. However, the process isn't straightforward: Bisharp must be your buddy, and you must triumph over 15 Dark- or Steel-type Pokémon in Raid Battles. Bisharp doesn't need to fight; simply having it as your companion while you win these battles will suffice.

Adding to the royal festivities, two new costumed Pokémon, Nidoqueen and Nidoking, will appear wearing splendid crowns. Keep your eyes peeled for their Shiny variants too. These monarchs will be featured in three-star raids, while one-star raids will spotlight Sneasel, Klink, and Pawniard.
