Hello Kitty Adventure Launches Scholastic Event

• Hello Kitty Island Adventure is launching two major new events.

Shifting gears from our extensive Gamescom Opening Night Live coverage, we turn to something more relaxed and adorable. That's right, it's time for Sanrio's fun mascots as Hello Kitty Island Adventure heads back to school with the new Scholastic Celebration.

The Scholastic Celebration, launching August 24th, coincides with the back-to-school season. While students return to their classrooms, the Sanrio characters are enjoying a variety of sporty activities while dressed in stylish, academically-inspired costumes.

For those seeking wider appeal, the Jam Jamboree event arrives on September 12th. It features a baker's dozen of mini-games, sweet surprises, berry-themed rewards, and new outfits for your favorite mascots.

Sweet or Sour

It's not just events for all platforms. Apple Arcade players can enjoy these events along with a major new content update. Also launching on September 12th, version 2.8, "Sea of Wonder," brings high-seas adventure to cap off the summer.

Embark on fishing quests with Badtz-Maru or try new lures while competing in the Fishing Derby for seasonal items. The update introduces the new Rodent species, including mice and hamsters, and welcomes the OTM Girls as seasonal visitors to Friendship Island.
