Marvel Rivals has unveiled two brand-new character skins inspired by the Kirisaki Mountains, featuring none other than Loki and Hela. These highly anticipated designs bring the mystical aesthetic of Japanese folklore into the Marvel universe. Read on to discover more about these stunning skins and the exciting in-game event offering exclusive rewards.
On April 21, NetEase officially announced via Marvel Rivals’ Twitter (X) account that new skins for Loki and Hela will soon be available in the game. These skins—Loki’s Shin Sagi-Shi and Hela’s Yami no Karasu—are inspired by Peach Momoko’s Demon Days, a unique comic series that reimagines classic Marvel characters through the lens of Japanese mythology and traditional storytelling.
This isn’t the first time Marvel Rivals has embraced the Kirisaki Mountains theme. Peni Parker’s Yatsukahagi skin was previously released as part of this aesthetic, and more themed content is expected in the future based on recent social media teasers.
Both Loki and Hela’s new skins are set to launch on April 25 at 2:00 UTC. While official pricing details have yet to be revealed, players can anticipate the inclusion of custom emotes, stickers, and other exclusive cosmetic items.
In celebration of the upcoming release, Marvel Rivals also launched Art Vision Vol. 01, a behind-the-scenes video series showcasing how the game's art team brings these unique themes to life. The series features insights from Marvel Rivals Art Director Dino and other lead designers who share their creative inspirations and design philosophies behind the visual world of the game.
To celebrate the arrival of Season 2: Hellfire Gala, Marvel Rivals is hosting a limited-time online event where players can earn free, exclusive rewards.
The event invites players to explore the new Krakoa Map and find hidden welcome signs scattered throughout the environment. Once located, players must strike a pose on the sign, capture a screenshot, and either retweet or comment it on the official event post.
Ten lucky participants will win the Jeff the Land Shark Hand Fan, while another ten will receive special Series 2 Fridge Magnets. The event runs until April 25, with winners being announced on April 29.
Additionally, NetEase continues to enhance gameplay accessibility by rolling out experimental performance improvements aimed at reducing memory usage and increasing overall game stability.
Marvel Rivals is now playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For more updates and news about Marvel Rivals, stay tuned to our coverage [ttpp].
