Marvel Contest Of Champions Is Celebrating Halloween This Year With An Increased FPS And More!

Marvel Contest of Champions unleashes its spookiest Halloween yet! New characters and chilling challenges are adding extra thrills to the Battlerealm, all as part of the game's 10th Anniversary celebration.

A Spooktacular Halloween Event in Marvel Contest of Champions

This year's update introduces two terrifying new champions: Scream and Jack O’ Lantern. Scream, the symbiote with a vendetta, joins forces with Jack O’ Lantern, whose dark past is as chilling as his name suggests – he transforms victims into unsettling jack-o'-lanterns.

These additions heighten the excitement of the House of Horrors event, where players alongside Jessica Jones investigate a mysterious carnival filled with animatronic horrors.

Jack's Bounty-full Hunt offers a gladiator-style battleground where Jack O’ Lantern challenges warriors. This side quest features weekly challenges with branching paths, offering a thrilling survival experience. The event runs from October 9th to November 6th.

Celebrating a Decade of Champions

This Halloween event coincides with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th Anniversary. Kabam is celebrating a decade of action with 10 major reveals. Medusa and Purgatory have already received updates.

The Deadpool’s Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza introduces an Alliance Super Season, allowing players to team up for bounty missions. Venom-themed content, including the Venom: Last Dance event (October 21st to November 15th), is also part of the anniversary celebrations.

Anniversary Battlegrounds Season 22 is currently underway until October 30th, featuring new mechanics that leverage buffs and critical hits.

Smooth Gameplay on the Horizon

Kabam is also implementing a 60 FPS gameplay update, launching on November 4th, for significantly smoother action. Currently, the game is capped at 30 FPS.
