Competitive Rank Reset Mechanics
At the end of each season, your competitive rank will be demoted by seven tiers. For example, a player ending the season at Diamond I will begin the next season at Gold II. Players at Bronze III, the lowest rank, will remain there.
Rank Reset Timing
The rank reset occurs at the season's conclusion. Season 1, for instance, commenced on January 10th, indicating the reset will happen at the end of that season.
All Competitive Ranks
Competitive mode unlocks at player level 10. Players earn points in matches to progress through tiers. Each 100 points advances the player to the next tier. The ranks are:
Even after reaching Grandmaster I, players can continue earning points for Eternity and One Above All. One Above All requires a top 500 leaderboard placement.
Season Length
While Season 0 was shorter, subsequent seasons are expected to last approximately three months. New seasons introduce new heroes (like the Fantastic Four) and maps, providing ample time to climb the ranks.
