Marvel's Moon Knight: Future Appearances Confirmed, But No Season 2
While a second season of Moon Knight on Disney+ is unlikely, Marvel Studios head Brad Winderbaum confirmed to ComicBook that Oscar Isaac's character will reappear in the MCU. The shift away from a Season 2 stems from a change in Marvel Television's strategy. Previously, standalone series served as character introductions for later MCU projects (like Ms. Marvel leading to The Marvels). Now, the focus is on creating self-contained, annual series, more akin to traditional television programming.
Winderbaum stated, "I think Marvel Television has happened in waves, and I think Moon Knight happened in a wave of shows that were going to establish characters that would tie-in to the future...moving forward our priorities have shifted. We’re making shows as shows that can exist as annual releases, more like television. I would love to see a Moon Knight Season 2, but there are plans for Moon Knight down the road."
While Isaac voiced Moon Knight in Marvel's What If...?, his live-action return remains unannounced.

The upcoming MCU Disney+ slate includes Daredevil: Born Again (March), Ironheart (June), Eyes of Wakanda (August), Marvel Zombies (October), and Wonder Man (December). Recently, Marvel paused production on Nova, Strange Academy, and Terror, Inc., but Winderbaum indicated that a Defenders reunion, featuring Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist, is being explored.
