PMGC 2024: League Stage Wraps, Welcoming Finalists

The PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 is heating up! Despite recent frosty updates to the game, the conclusion of the League Stage has intensified the competition. Brute Force, INFLUENCE RAGE, and ThunderTalk Gaming are the latest teams to secure their spots in the finals.

While many PUBG Mobile players are likely enjoying the chilling effects of the Icemire Frontier update (icy dragons and all!), the competitive scene is white-hot. The League Stage has just wrapped up, sending three more teams to the December finals.

Brute Force, INFLUENCE RAGE, and ThunderTalk Gaming will join the previously qualified teams at the London ExCel Center from December 6th to 8th. However, the competition isn't over for those who didn't qualify this round.

The Survival Stage runs from November 20th to 22nd, narrowing the field from 24 teams to 16. A Last Chance Stage, from November 23rd to 24th, will offer six additional teams a shot at the Grand Finals.

The PUBG Mobile Global Championship has generated significantly more buzz than this summer's PUBG Mobile World Cup, despite the latter's extensive marketing. The World Cup, held in Riyadh, may have prioritized promoting Saudi Arabia as a gaming hub. In contrast, the Global Championship's London location offers greater accessibility for many players and promises a substantial impact.
