Pokemon GO enthusiasts are in for a treat as Gigantamax Kingler is set to debut on February 1, 2025, during the exciting Max Battle Day event. Last year marked a significant update for the game with the introduction of Dynamax and Gigantamax forms, much to the delight of players worldwide. Since then, the developers at Niantic have been steadily expanding the range of these special variants available within the game.

Gigantamax, a unique form of Dynamax, not only amplifies a Pokemon's size and power but also transforms its appearance and equips it with exclusive G-Max Moves. In the main series games, 32 Pokemon can undergo this transformation, but in Pokemon GO, only six have been available so far, with Gigantamax Lapras being the most recent addition. The list is set to grow with the upcoming event.

Gigantamax Kingler Debuts at Pokemon GO's Upcoming Max Battle Day

From 12 am to 5 pm on February 1, players will benefit from earning double Max Particles while exploring and needing only a quarter of the usual distance to collect them. A special $5 ticket will offer 1 Max Mushroom, 25000 XP, double XP from Max Battles, and an increased Max Particle collection limit to 5600. Additionally, a $7.99 box containing six particle packs will be available on the Pokemon GO Web Store.

Max Battle Day is just one of the exciting events planned for February. Earlier in the month, the Lunar New Year event is scheduled from January 29 to February 1. Although Gigantamax Kingler won't be featured during this event, players can look forward to other thrilling events, including the return of Shadow Ho-Oh in a Shadow Raid Day on January 19, and the introduction of more Galar Pokemon in the coming days.
