Pokémon Go's Legendary Trio Return for Three-Week Raid Event

Get Ready for Dynamax Legendary Birds in Pokémon GO!

From January 20th to February 3rd, the legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will appear in their Dynamax forms in Pokémon GO! This exciting event offers players a chance to encounter and capture these powerful Pokémon.

Legendary Bird Encounters:

The Dynamax legendary birds will appear in five-star Max Raids at Power Spots. Each bird will have a dedicated week:

• Dynamax Articuno: January 20th
• Dynamax Zapdos: January 27th
• Dynamax Moltres: February 3rd

Each bird will remain available for a full week after its initial appearance.

Legendary Flight Timed Research:

A special "Legendary Flight Timed Research" event will run concurrently, offering opportunities to catch Pokémon, including Shiny Pokémon, perfect for battling the legendary birds. You'll also earn Candy and Max Particles to power up your catches.

• Dynamax Articuno Research: January 17th, 10:00 am - January 20th, 7:00 pm (featuring Charmander, Beldum, and Scorbunny)
• Dynamax Zapdos Research: January 24th, 10:00 am - January 27th, 7:00 pm (featuring Drilbur, Cryogonal, and Grookey)
• Dynamax Moltres Research: January 31st, 10:00 am - February 3rd, 7:00 pm (featuring Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble)

Victini Returns with Pokémon GO Tour: Unova!

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova is also bringing back the Mythical Pokémon Victini! While the in-person event has limited participation, players worldwide can upgrade their free Tour Pass to a Deluxe Pass for enhanced rewards and faster progression.

The free Tour Pass will be available on February 24th, 2025, at 10:00 am, allowing players to collect Tour Points and earn rewards until March 2nd, 6:00 pm (local time).

Upgrading to the Deluxe Pass grants immediate access to Victini and the Lucky Trinket, which allows you to become Lucky Friends with another player for a single trade with boosted stats and low power-up costs.
