Pokémon TCG Pocket to introduce trading at the end of this month alongside brand-new expansion

Pokémon TCG Pocket’s highly anticipated trading feature arrives January 29th, followed by the Space-Time Smackdown expansion on January 30th! This expansion introduces beloved Sinnoh region Pokémon.

Trading, as the name suggests, lets you exchange cards with friends, mirroring the physical card game experience. Trade hourglasses and tokens will be required.

Space-Time Smackdown adds fan-favorite Pokémon from the Sinnoh region. Two new digital booster packs feature legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia.

Beyond the legendaries, popular Pokémon like Lucario and the Sinnoh starter trio (Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup) join the roster. These will be available via Wonder Pick and standard booster packs.

This update is sure to be a hit, especially with the addition of these long-awaited Pokémon. While some initial concerns about the trading mechanics exist, developers promise ongoing adjustments.
