Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th
Originally slated for a December 17th release, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles on January 28th. This charming puzzler, developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, was initially released in April 2024 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, earning widespread praise for its relaxing gameplay and clever puzzles.
The PlayStation port's release was delayed to allow for further polishing, ensuring the best possible player experience. While a new release date was promised in 2025, Whitethorn Games delivered the good news on January 9th, confirming the January 28th launch. Although a PlayStation Store page is yet to appear, players can anticipate a price point of $24.99, consistent with other platforms. The game will remain a one-time purchase, free of microtransactions, and likely won't include the digital soundtrack offered separately on Steam.
Enhancing PlayStation's Puzzle Game Lineup
Botany Manor's strong reception, boasting an 83/100 average score and a 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic, positions it as a significant addition to the PlayStation puzzle game library. Its cozy atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and engaging exploration have captivated critics, solidifying its reputation as a top-tier puzzler of 2024.
With its PlayStation release, Botany Manor will be available on all initially announced platforms. Balloon Studios' next project remains unannounced. January 28th will also see the arrival of other notable titles on the PlayStation Store, including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
