Exciting news for fans of Punishing Gray Raven (PGR) and Devil May Cry 5 (DMC5)! The much-anticipated collaboration between PGR CN and DMC5 has finally been given a release date. Dive into the details of this exclusive event and discover what awaits on the special rate-up banners during the crossover.
Kuro Games, the developers behind PGR, unveiled the upcoming PGR x DMC5 collaboration during a dedicated livestream on April 27. This exciting crossover will bring iconic DMC5 characters to the PGR CN server, complete with special banners and an engaging collaboration story event.
The collaboration was first teased during PGR's 5th anniversary livestream in late 2024, showcasing Dante and Vergil from DMC5 as new characters joining PGR. The recent livestream not only confirmed their arrival but also revealed more about the event.
Kuro Games has officially set the release date for the PGR x DMC5 crossover on May 22, exclusively for the CN server. As of now, there are no plans announced for its release in other regions.
Players participating in the collaboration can earn a free Dante Omniframe by completing Chapter 6 of the special collaboration story event. Additionally, a Vergil Omniframe will be available on a limited-time banner during the event.
The event will feature four special rate-up banners: Dante Rate Up, Fate Dante Rate Up, Vergil Rate Up, and Fate Vergil Rate Up. During this time, pulls will be discounted to 175 Black Cards per pull, making it a great opportunity for players to acquire these characters.
A unique bonus system will also be in effect for the first two pulls of either Dante or Vergil. For instance, pulling one copy of Dante or Vergil will grant an additional copy, and pulling two copies will reward two more. This bonus applies only to the first two pulls, after which the standard 1:1 pull system resumes.
Punishing Gray Raven is available on iOS and Android across five regions: China (CN), Taiwan (TW), Japan (JP), Korea (KR), and Global (GL). In November 2024, the developers announced a synchronization plan to align global server updates with those of the CN server, aiming to complete this by the end of 2025.
