2026 Release Date

Housemarque's Saros, a PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro exclusive, is poised to launch in 2026. Building upon the success of Returnal, this new IP promises to refine and expand upon the thrilling third-person action gameplay. The game stars Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.

A Stronger Return

According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand alone as a distinct experience. This new IP will iterate on Returnal's narrative and mechanics, offering a unique evolution. Unlike Returnal's procedurally generated roguelike environments, Saros introduces persistent, evolving loadouts—weapons and suits—empowering players to "Come Back Stronger" and overcome challenges.
